Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA)

The Armed Forces Tuition Assistance (TA) Program helps enlisted personnel pay for up to 100% of the cost of classes they take in their off-duty hours. Classes may be taken at high schools, community or junior colleges, vocational schools, and 4-year universities.

Amount covered:

100% tuition and fees, not to exceed:
  • $250 per Semester Credit Hour
  • $166 per Quarter Credit Hour
  • $4500 per Fiscal Year

  • Tuition
  • Lab fees
  • Enrollment fees
  • Special fees
  • Computer fees
Who is Eligible:
  • Active Duty
  • Reserves

 

Amount covered:

100% tuition and fees, not to exceed:
  • $250 per Semester Credit Hour
  • $166 per Quarter Credit Hour
  • $4500 per Fiscal Year (or 12 semester hours for those in the Navy)

  • Computer fees
Who is Eligible:
  • Active Duty
  • Reserves on Active Duty
