Will the GED Help Me Get Into College?

Almost all colleges accept GED graduates just like high school graduates. If you have your GED you can usually get federal financial aid to pay for college. After earning your GED, you will need to take either the ACT and/or the SAT, depending on what the colleges you want to go to require. Some colleges may also have you take some more tests to see if you need to take any other courses to get you ready for college (such as a review of high school math).
