Who is Eligible to Take the GED Test?
You may take the GED test if:
- You are not currently in high school, and
- You have not graduated from high school, and
- You are at least age 16-years-old, and
- You meet state's rules for age, where you live, and how long it's been since you left high school. Each state has different rules for whom can take the GED. Call (800) 626-9433 to find a testing center in your area. Your local testing center can tell you for sure if you are eligible to take the test.
