What is the Online Resources Database?
The Online Resources Database, is an online database of health and human services
available to residents in the Sacramento Region. The database, located at
www.SacramentoBeehive.org, provides anytime access to providers of basic community
services such as housing, food, health, and other human services. Programs included are
city, county, state, or federal governments programs, programs operated by nonprofit
agencies or community groups.
Inclusion in the database does not imply endorsement of the organization and exclusion
does not suggest disapproval. The Community Services Planning Council is not
responsible for the quality of service delivered by any organization listed. The
information presented is provided by the organization.
What Information Is Available for a Program?
The following information is available for each program: location, phone number(s), fax
number, email contact, web site, days and hours of operation, program description,
eligibility, intake procedure, fees, languages other than English, handicap accessibility,
and transportation to the location.
How Is the Right Information Found?
When we use a phone book, we look under a word or words that name the service such as
auto repair or senior centers. The Online Database works the same way. You can search
for resources under the topics for Food, Employment, Health, etc. You can also search by
population type, location, or by the name of the organization.
