I would like to know if someone can diagnos my resume and tell me if there is something I can do to make it more desireable or shall I say presentable.

Hi Laurie,
Thanks for contacting The Beehive. Our team has tried to re-create the problem you've been having creating a PDF, unfortunately, we have not had any trouble creating PDF files. Please try the link again and contact us if you continue having this problem.

Any advice on how to get the "create pdf" function to work on this site's resume template?

scorpirider, I am not sure if you meant law enforcement or practicing law as an attorney, but either way you should spend some time talking to people who have those jobs. Your local police department may allow you to do a ride along with a patrol car which would give you an opportunity to speak with policemen and get a feel for the job. If you do not know any attorneys, ask your friends and family if they know an attorney who may be willing to speak with you about the job. You can also ask your friends and family if they know anyone in law enforcement, such as U.S. Customs, border patrol, state police, county sheriff etc. to see if they know anyone who may be willing to talk with you about their jobs.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice however, I have never worked in the field of law and have aalways had an interest in it. I am in my early 50's and thinking about going for a graduate degree and am not sure if it would be of benefit because of my age and no experience in that area. I work in education now as an advisor and trying to figure out what I am going to be is really becomong challenging. Any good advice would be appreciated!

I'm turning 51, have a B.S. in occupational therapy, but no longer practice it. I have experience in medical case management, utilization review-hospital and insurance companies, discharge planning, staff management, nursing homes, rehabilitation, home health, outpatient and inpatient care. I don't really want to be a nurse, but all the jobs I'm qualified for/looking for require a nursing degree. I don't plan on practicing OT again-got totally burned out. I need help, direction.
