For some people, healthy living means hitting the gym twice a week. For others it is a whole lifestyle including diet, excercises, work-life balance and the very underrated concept of a good nights sleep.

I think for me there is an ideal and then there is the reality. In reality I walk to work every day but still eat a honkin' huge burrito for lunch.

I think you have to keep striving for balance. Try to move at least once a day. While you mayn't shed pounds, it's good for your heart. And, add tons of veggies to that hunkin' burrito, too.

Healthy living is a daily challenge. Each day brings a new opportunity to live healthier. Today, I packed healthy snacks for the work day. And, I packed my gym bag for my after-work, gym/me time. I made my son a healthy breakfast before he headed off to school. I got 8.5 hours of sleep last night, too. I think people are always on a quest for absolutes. But, healthy living is a balancing act where you aim to do right by yourself (and those you love) as many times in a day as you can.

Healthy Living for me is always having a healthy diet and most of all, wake up early in the morning and go jogging outside or at the park, just to keep you more active and be fit.
